Simply Flowers – by Julie grew out of encouragement from family and friends to make use of my talent for floral design, after preparing the flowers for my daughter’s wedding in 2015.

I have enjoyed flower arranging for many years, but had only ever used it as a hobby to decorate my home.

Following the success of the wedding flowers, I was being asked to provide other arrangements for family and friends, which convinced me to finally put this ability to good use.

My next step was to take an IVCAS diploma course in floristry, resulting in a pass with distinction as a qualified florist in 2016.

This was followed in 2017 with an Intermediate course on Bridal Flowers at the Cambridge Flower School and then, in 2018, achieving the qualification of an Advanced Floral Designer with the Floral Design Institute of Portland, Oregon, USA.
